speaking

I am not a wellness influencer who discovered breathwork. I am a PhD nuclear engineer and former research director who spent fifteen years at the highest levels of one of the most high-stakes fields in the world — and hit a wall I couldn't work my way through when I developed chronic illness from years of extreme stress.

That experience - and the year I spent rebuilding everything from the inside out - is the foundation of everything I speak about.

I bring something rare to the stage: the scientific rigor of a researcher, the lived experience of a senior leader who has navigated burnout and come out the other side, and the creative eye of an artist who knows how beauty shapes the way we feel by spending a lifetime looking through a lens. I speak to executive audiences the way they need to be spoken to — with evidence, specificity, and no tolerance for vague wellness platitudes.

The Science of Slow: Neuroaesthetics and the Regulated Leader
Most high-performing leaders are operating in a state of chronic dysregulation and don't know it. This talk introduces the science of neuroaesthetics — how beauty, environment, and somatic practice reshape the nervous system — and offers a practical framework for building calm into daily life without adding another item to the to-do list. For executive audiences, leadership retreats, and wellbeing conferences.

Beauty Is Not Decorative, It Is Necessary
A talk about what we lose when we optimize relentlessly for function and ignore form. Drawing on neuroscience, art history, and personal experience, this session challenges the assumption that beauty is a luxury and makes the case — scientifically and philosophically — that it is a biological need. For design, architecture, hospitality, and wellbeing audiences.

From Nuclear Security to Slow Living: On Building a Life Worth Having
A personal keynote about fifteen years in one of the world's most high-stakes careers — and what a year of deliberate stillness taught me that those years of achievement never could. This is the answer to the top question I receive: how did you build a curated, dream life? For leadership conferences, executive retreats, and audiences navigating career transitions or burnout.

The 90-Second Reset: Somatic Tools for High-Stakes Professionals
A practical, science-backed workshop introducing somatic practices that can be done in 90 seconds or less — at a desk, between meetings, or before a difficult conversation. Participants leave with tools they can use immediately. For corporate wellbeing programs, executive off-sites, and leadership teams.

Custom topics available — particularly for audiences at the intersection of science, art, design, hospitality, and executive wellbeing.

Beyond speaking, I work with a small number of individuals and organizations on a consulting basis in two areas:

Neuroaesthetics for senior leaders:
One-on-one work with executives and senior leaders who want a personalized, art-centered and science-backed approach to calm, curated, and intentional living. It is a rigorous, highly customized engagement for someone who takes their inner life as seriously as their professional one.

Neuroaesthetics consulting for spaces:
For hospitality brands, wellness resorts, interior designers, architects, and art appreciators who want to apply the science of neuroaesthetics (how beauty affects the nervous system) to their physical environments. I work as a specialist consultant — bringing both the scientific framework and the artist's eye — to help design sensory spaces that provide instantaneous calm for the people inside them.

Consulting engagements are selective and limited. I take on a small number of clients at a time to ensure the highest quality of work. Conducted virtually or in-person, I am currently relocating to the south of France in summer 2026.
